Business Details
We work to deliver Forest School and Outdoor learning sessions to children of all ages.
Delivered by Josie Carding-Walker - Fully trained Primary School teacher and Forest School leader.
We currently deliver: School & Nursery workshops, Woodland Toddler Groups, Home Education sessions, Family Forest School events and Birthday parties.
Regular access to the outdoor environment, through mediums such as Forest School, provides an alternative, calmer space, which has been shown to significantly boost learning capacity, build confidence, improve independence, enhance resilience and reduce stress levels within children.
Activities that we provide include, but are not limited to: Fire lighting, whittling, natural crafts, rope and knot work, mapping, free play inclusive of balance and swinging equipment, nature investigation and identification.

She made the birthday girl feel special and gently supported all the children to take part in the activities that interested them the most. Great communication / Kim TinningMy daughter and 12 of her buddies had her 10th birthday celebration with Dens Daisies and Discoveries and we could not have asked for a better day. Josie is amazing and beyond accommodating. Correspondence was fast and clear and the cost is more than fair priced. After Josie, the mud pit is definitely the star! All the kids had a fabulous time, from the more shy and clean friends to the absolute feral pals, there were activities for everyone.
