Difficult conversations with clients, customers, staff, associates and neighbours can have a detrimental effect on our lives, not just mentally but emotionally too. If your business/job role or life puts you in positions where conflict occurs, please consider an approved qualification in mediation to enhance your ability to manage those difficult conversations. Course aims: • Explore what conflict means for people and how we respond • Consider and understand different responses to conflict • Develop effective communication skills • Understand and communicate the mediation process • Build an understanding of the skills and roles of a mediator • Practice mediation skills learned via role play Assessments are done via practical and written including homework.
