The University of Cumbria and Cartmell Shepherd are joining musical forces to present an evening of music and entertainment. The university’s acapella choirs under the musical direction of Professor Graeme Danby will perform alongside the long-established Cartmell Shepherd Community Choir led by Lyn Young. Compered by Carlisle’s much-loved media giant and story-teller, John Myers, the choirs will be joined by special guests, internationally renowned opera singer, Professor Valerie Reid and Carlisle-born baritone, Andrew Johnston. Proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice and the Cumbria Wheelchair Sports Club
