Every Life Matters are a suicide prevention and suicide bereavement support charity. Our work is focused primarily on Cumbria, which has some of the highest suicide rates in England, but we provide training and consultancy to a range of sectors across the UK.
Since 2020 we have delivered over 25,000 suicide prevention training places in Cumbria, including our Suicide Safer Schools programme. We undertake a range of awareness raising, education and campaigning activity ana well as production of a variety of suicide prevention and self-harm digital and physical resources, some of which have been rolled out across larger parts of the UK.
We also provide a comprehensive range of specialist support for people and organisations bereaved and impacted by suicide in Cumbria.
