We are all keen to ensure that we meet the skills requirements across Cumbria so that demand can be met, and maximum benefit returned to the area. We therefore wanted to highlight this event at Carlisle College of the Arts on January 28th. Take a look at the details below. Well worth taking part in this skills summit that also has a panel discussion chaired by Mike Zeller of BBC Cumbria.
This partnership and stakeholder event will highlight the challenges and opportunities arising from £90 billion investment within the Nuclear Sector, as well as a range of other major infrastructure projects planned across Cumbria. Key speakers will explain the potential impacts and opportunities for Carlisle and Cumbria, then outline the future skills requirements across a range of sectors in order to meet the projected demand. Presentations will be followed by a panel discussion to begin the debate on how Carlisle will respond. WHENThursday, 28 January 2016 from 08:45 to 13:30 WHERECarlisle College of the Arts - Strand Road. Carlisle, Cumbria CA1 1NJ GB
