Exciting Times for the Carlisle Ambassadors
We are busy preparing for the first 2015 meeting of the Carlisle Ambassadors, and looking forward to seeing so many people at The Halston Aparthotel who are generously sponsoring the event. We're looking forward to hearing from Simon Harrison about The Halston and this Carlisle success story at the start of the meeting.
200 individuals, businesses and organisations are attending, and we have now opened registration early at 11.30 in order to ensure we can start the meeting on time.
Jason Gooding, Chief Executive of Carlisle City Council, will be giving the background to the programme and the support behind it. Fred Story, Chairman of Story Homes and CEO of Story Contracting will be sharing his passion for collaboration to make a difference, and influence the future of Carlisle and wider Cumbria. Andy King, Regional Director of GLL, will be talking about the recent merger with Carlisle Leisure and how this also benefits the area. After an updated on key emerging developments by Jane Meek, Director of Economic Development at Carlisle City Council, there will be a great opportunity to network with delegates, and to catch up with those who are involved in the group over lunch.
You are welcome to attend up to three meetings without commitment. As many have asked about membership, we're sharing a few details here. Joining Carlisle Ambassadors provides an opportunity, whether an individual or large organisation, to get involved – investment is based on size. All monies received contribute to support activities and materials available to the Ambassadors. Once you pay your membership subscription, we will include you in our promotion activities and you will fully benefit from being part of the network. As we do offer free attendance at the first few meetings, we are also offering the opportunity to commit before mid-February but not pay until June, with renewal in June 2016.

Whether you decide you want to commit straight away, or just want to hear more about how plans will develop, we really look forward to welcoming so many people to the first meeting of 2015.
