OVERVIEW
Phoenix Enterprise Centre (PEC) is a well-established Community Interest Company at the heart of Cleator Moor, West Cumbria.
For over forty years we have been providing affordable, flexible managed workspace for a variety of start-ups, third-sector organisations and SMEs. Our premises are repurposed heritage buildings located around the town square.
What we offer are small and large-plan office suites as well as workshop units, all on easy-in, easy-out terms and only one months notice. We also have conference and meeting room facilities available to hire at flexible rates. Our tenants also benefit from hands-on business support and networking opportunities with other businesses on site.
Located just five minutes from Whitehaven and within a short drive of Westlakes Science Park and Sellafield, PEC is a popular base for nuclear supply chain businesses.
Because we believe economic growth and social responsibility go hand in hand, we also provide community services, such as employment advice and guidance, and computer skills workshops to help bridge digital barriers.

We relocated to Cleator Moor in March 2023 following the ending of the lease we had on a building in Whitehaven. Phoenix Enterprise Centre (PEC) offered us everything we needed. Comfortable, modern and well-maintained office space which is inviting and comfortable for staff and volunteers to work in. The PEC team has been fantastic making us feel really welcome and supporting us with any needs we have such as hiring extra space for meetings.
